Although many studies demonstrate that inclusive education is beneficial for both people with Down Syndrome and their peers, in many countries around the world, people with Down Syndrome are still segregated in special classes. That’s why on March 21st, World Down Syndrome Day, Coordown decided to tell the story of a kid called Lea, and how she wanted more in life than to be only “special”.

 Following the online video’s repercussion, Lea’s story came to life and became a real book. It was launched in Italy and it is currently available for sale on all major book stores in the country and also online.
